Tandem Vintage

Tandem Vintage is a lesbian-owned vintage shop in Minneapolis’ Kingfield neighborhood, specialising in colourful second-hand fashion from the 1950s through the 1990s.

Founder Amanda Baumann started Tandem at Twin Cities pop-ups before opening the brick-and-mortar store in 2021. The shop mixes decades, prints and styles rather than sticking to one retro look, with an emphasis on well-made pieces you’ll actually want to keep wearing.

Tandem also stocks local brands from BIPOC-, LGBTQ+-, women- and non-binary-owned businesses, so there’s more here than vintage clothing alone. The overall feel is personal, independent and very rooted in the local community.
