HOSI is the LGBT youth centre of Salzburg with a café bar that is the only place that fills up early in the evening. The group also organises a large gay dance parties 4 times a year.

Mexxx Gay Bar is the most popular gay venue in Salzburg. The bar hosts regular events with drink deals and happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays (8:30 PM - 12:00 AM).
The bar itself is very small, with good music and limited room for dancing. Staff are friendly and accommodating to tourists. Mexxx is easy to find, located on Schallmooser main street near Kapuzinerberg Hill.
